About Austin Bragdon, PA
Mr. Bragdon received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University-Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine Physician Assistant Program. He was a student ambassador for his program during his didactic year. He continues to mentor students from his program. He also enjoys teaching students and allowing prospective students to shadow him for insight into the physician assistant profession. In conjunction with mentorship, he is an adjunct professor at Meharry Medical College Physician Assistant Program. He is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Certification Committee of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Mr. Bragdon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University.
Mr. Bragdon has practiced in orthopedics for a decade and was granted the title of Lead Advance Provider at his previous organization. This position allowed for leadership, support, and advancement of the group of advanced practice providers in the organization. Throughout his career, Austin has enjoyed seeing, evaluating, and treating all orthopedic concerns in his medical practice. He is very dedicated to spending adequate time with patients and developing a trusting relationship for medical decision-making.
During his free time, Mr. Bragdon enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys trying new restaurants in the area and going to concerts with his wife. He spends time walking different greenways with his daughter. Also, he enjoys being active in weightlifting, golf, running, and biking. He has two dogs, Hendrix and Waffles. Mr. Bragdon also enjoys cheering on his sports teams: Tennessee Vols, Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, Atlanta Braves, and PGA Golf.
