Born and raised in coastal SC, I started off my career as a Registered nurse. Graduating from Francis Marion University and the Medical University of SC with two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Biology/Chemistry and then one in Nursing, I first worked as an RN within the hospital setting primarily in Intensive Care Units (Cardiovascular, Surgical and Trauma) in the state of SC. I also worked as a travel nurse in different areas of the hospital systems including GI/endoscopy, ER, Medical/Surgical, Cath lab and Electrophysiology. Approximately ten years ago advanced my education and achieved my Masters from South University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have been in family practice, Pain Management, Urgent Care and even holistic medicine. I gained a vast array of medical knowledge from over 20 years of medical experience. I love helping to figure out what is needed to help patients feel better and achieve a better quality of life. I felt very blessed when I found Ortho Sport and Spine Physicians was opening and office in the Myrtle Beach area. I look forward to being here and being available to make a difference in patients’ lives.

When I’m not working, I am also a single mom to two teen boys who are my world. I love to sail, swim and be near the salt water as much as possible. Design and art are also a love of mine. I have three Chihuahuas and would have more if I could! My Jeep is also my fun car and you will probably see me riding down Hwy 17 , top down, going to grab a coffee with the music playing! Please wave and stop to speak! I love meeting and chatting with people! Life is good.

Surgery was a success my left knee is fully functional again. Langer and his staff was very helpful through this entire process they assigned me a top physical therapist Cara which was great at helping me to improve now just up to me to continue to condition myself back to the way I was physically before the injury and hopefully I never have to endure any future injuries that lead to surgery. Overall a great help and experience after surgery was completed. Thank You to Langer and his staff.
