About Chris Rose, PA-C
Chris Rose is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedics and spine conditions. He is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Chris now resides in Columbia, South Carolina.
Chris earned his Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine from Guilford College, where he played varsity Lacrosse and club Rugby during his tenure there. He obtained his National Athletic Trainers Association certification as an Athletic Trainer and went on to earn a Masters in Sports Management while working as a graduate assistant in Sports Medicine at North Carolina State University. Later, he earned a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies at South University. Prior to working with Ortho Sport and Spine Physicians he gained experience serving patients though several settings including general orthopedics, sports medicine, orthopedic spine, surgical 1st assist, and pain management. Mr. Rose has considerable experience in treating various acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions involving the small, intermediate, and large joint groups, as well as those affecting the spine.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, snow skiing, mountain biking and traveling.
