About Christa Smith, NP

Christa is a family nurse practitioner specializing in the treatment of patients with orthopedic and spine conditions. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse practitioners.

Born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia, Christa is a graduate of North Hall High School. She attended the University of North Georgia, in Dahlonega, GA, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1996. Later, in 2001, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University, in Marietta, GA, where she graduated with honors. She has lived and worked in the Atlanta area as a nurse practitioner for over 20 years, with experience in pain management, internal medicine, urgent care, and patients with neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions. She is passionate about serving and encouraging patients, providing the highest quality care, and helping patients regain their highest level of function.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Georgia Nurses Association.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, playing piano, and DIY projects.
