About Dr. Avner Robert Griver, MD

Dr. Avner Griver is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with additional subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Medical Specialties. He received a Biology degree from the University of Texas at Austin and then attended a top tier medical school, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT, Dr. Griver returned to Houston to train at a top 5 PM&R Residency at TIRR. Dr. Griver has been in private practice for over 20 years, in both Texas and Pennsylvania, and he is delighted to have returned back to the South. He has had extensive training in Interventional Procedures, including advanced minimally invasive procedures such as rhizotomies, lumbar decompression, DRG stimulation, Spinal Cord Stimulation, spinal implants, and sacroiliac joint fusion.

Dr. Griver is focused on non operative and minimally invasive treatment for spine and joint conditions. He is proud of the work he has done in helping his patients, but remains proudest of his wife and his four children. He enjoys gardening, the outdoors, and traveling with his family.
