About Kellee L. Johnson, FNP-C
Mrs. Kellee Johnson is a certified family nurse practitioner with over 30years of healthcare experience. She manages the care of patients with various neurological, musculoskeletal, and spine related pathologies. Mrs. Johnson is actively involved from the onset of a patient’s symptoms/injury, assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing best practice interventions to assist the clients return to normal function.
Born in Ashland, Ky. she is the oldest of six children. She is a graduate of Greenup County High School, and attended Northern Ky University, where she earned her associate degree in science and started her career as an RN in surgical and orthopedics. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Ky Christian University, and worked for over 6yrs in open heart pre-op, and cath and vascular pre-op. She then earned her master’s degree of science in nursing from Ky Christian University, and became a certified Nurse Practitioner, by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has worked with neurologists, neurosurgeons, epileptologist, orthopedic surgeons, and pain management specialists. For the last 3 1/2 years she has traveled as a locum to Fargo, ND, South Dakota, and Paducah, Ky, working in neurology, neurosurgery, and chronic pain management.
Outside of work Kellee’s greatest joy and passion is actively spending time with Kevin, her spouse of 33 yrs., her four children and three grandchildren.
