About Lara Schmidt, PA-C

Born and raised in Georgia, Lara recently relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Georgia, majoring with highest honors. She then went on to obtain her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Lara specializes in treating orthopedic and spine conditions. She has 2.5 years of clinical and first assist surgical experience working in an orthopedic spine clinic. She is passionate about building relationships with patients and helping them reach their functional goals.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, going to the gym, watching the latest movies, and trying new restaurants.
