About Laura Herring, APRN, NP-C

Laura is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Born in Birmingham, AL and raised in Eufaula, AL, Laura has always enjoyed time outdoors spent running, hiking and water skiing.

She began her career in the medical field in 2004 as an RN working in critical care and emergency medicine. After becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent many years practicing in the Emergency Department with a love for the treatment and management of orthopedic injuries.

Laura attended Auburn University where she earned both a BSN and MSN.

She and her husband live in Opelika, AL where they raise their five children. Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys reading jogging, and attending sporting events and programs in support of her children.

Surgery was a success my left knee is fully functional again. Langer and his staff was very helpful through this entire process they assigned me a top physical therapist Cara which was great at helping me to improve now just up to me to continue to condition myself back to the way I was physically before the injury and hopefully I never have to endure any future injuries that lead to surgery.
