About Lindsey Howard

Lindsey is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in the treatment of patients with spine and orthopedic injuries for more than 10 years. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in food science with a concentration in human nutrition and dietetics in 2010 from Clemson University. She then attended
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, MA and graduated with her master’s in physician assistant studies in 2013. After obtaining her graduate degree, she accepted a position at Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates in Charlotte, NC. Her husband recently accepted a position with
Tulane University subsequently bringing her to New Orleans. Lindsey believes in the importance of the patient provider relationship and believes providing a thorough understanding of the patient’s condition can be key to progress. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Ben and their 6-year-old beagle mix, Riggins.

Surgery was a success my left knee is fully functional again. Langer and his staff was very helpful through this entire process they assigned me a top physical therapist Cara which was great at helping me to improve now just up to me to continue to condition myself back to the way I was physically before the injury and hopefully I never have to endure any future injuries that lead to surgery. Overall a great help and experience after surgery was completed. Thank You to Langer and his staff.
