About Susan Yates, NP
Susan is a certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in the treatment of patients with orthopedic and spine conditions for more than ten years. She is board certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1992 from Auburn University.While there she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau honors society. Susan worked as an RN in cardiology, emergency medicine and interventional spine and pain management. She graduated with a master’s degree in nursing in 2014 from the University of North Georgia. She has spent the past ten years treating patients with spine and orthopedic conditions.
Susan believes better outcomes are achieved when patients understand their health conditions. She enjoys educating and collaborating with each patient to provide high quality care.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, baking and gardening.
