About Suzanne Ward, MSN, FNP-BC
Suzanne was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from Baptist College of Health Sciences with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999. She began her nursing career at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. She continued her education by obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing Degree at the University of Memphis and graduated with honors in 2006, which included an induction into the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Suzanne was then certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by AANP. She is currently a member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nursing and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Suzanne practiced as a FNP for five years in Electrophysiology, eight years in Orthopedics and two years in Pain Management. She enjoys working with patients and providing education about their current health status. Suzanne believes that improving patient education helps patients understand their treatment plan, which hopefully will result in greater patient satisfaction and improved medical outcomes.
In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys reading, cycling and weight lifting.
